Communicate 2.1.3 Ongoing Communication Quest

Integrating the ideas presented in Communicate: Stakeholders quests, create a blog post in which you discuss reasons why effective communication remains an essential part of online instruction. In the blog post, create an example of an ongoing communication that could be sent to all stakeholders. Ensure the product is creative, informative, and adheres to FERPA guidelines.


All too often, once instruction begins, effective communications is soon forgotten.  I've personally experienced this in the classroom and can only imagine how the issue is manifested in an online community.  Online instructors must take steps to ensure that all stakeholders are constantly informed.  Reminders can be set to go out at specific intervals, robo calls could be utilized with the hope that once grades come out, no surprises.
