The most important step to ensure digital safety: Ongoing training is the most important step to ensure digital safety.
Strategies to keep digital safety in forefront: Students should be provided with specific details of dangers to their online experience. Providing real-world examples that illustrate how students have been harmed either through cyber bullying, identity theft, etc...along with lessons explaining how to avoid theses scams would go far in protecting kids. Ensuring that students have tools available to them to protect their identity via various software packages would also help.
